PES5 made it to 40+ seasons (I was unemployed in 2004/5 for most of PES5's lifespan, and had the time to play for many hours every day, and I did). Even if I play PES2010 from now until October I doubt I'll have the time to make it to 40+ seasons, so PES5's record should be safe. For me PES2010's ML is a completely unexpected next-gen triumph, though, and I still can't quite believe it. There <em>is</em> a garment on its way to me that <em>may</em> bear the name of a player in a certain football game... No, I'm not coyly---and it would be <em>transparently</em>---forehsadowing the unveiling of a shirt bearing the name NOT-GREG. I have taken the plunge and ordered a CAPUANO shirt. When it gets here, depending on timing, I'll first Twitter the photo(s), and then gush about it all like a cosplaying schoolgirl in the first subsequent post. LIfe is too short for self-censorship. ;) When I moved back to Kansas and started supporting the Wizards (Kansas City's MLS team), I got a shirt with the name of a D&D wizard on the back as a kind of insider dumb joke. Therefore, I think getting a shirt with your favorite PES player from your longest-running ML career *ever* is exactly the right thing to do.
