Not Given

I bought FIFA 08 for £17.93 out of ASDA mate, 2 weeks ago. BARGAIN, I love both titles.

I also have Metal Gear pre-owned, still got a months leave left. Happy days.

Has anyone seen the recent pics of Resident Evil? This is my favourite game, the mercenary levels must be the best side game ever on a console after you initially complete game, I still play it. Not out till start of next year.

Greg

Don't know if you've read PSM3's article on FIFA 09. I bought magazine today, I took out the key elements from article, and posted on my blog.

here it is PSM3's FIFA 09 ARTICLE

Interesting from PES fanboys, could be the best year for football titles. Come on Konami, give us what we want.

Not Given - Give it another month or so and you should be able to get a pre-owned FIFA08 for a tenner or fifteen quid.

I'm with you on the Waiting For MGS4 front. This game is one of the two big reasons I got a PS3. (Let's not talk about the other reason.) I've even booked two days off work just to play MGS4. It's not sad at all...

Adriano - Indeed, and I have to say I've only ever been against reloading because it disrupts the history of my marathon MLs. I like the story of my long, long careers too much to want to mess them about, even if the game transparently cheats me. It's difficult to explain in a few words (at work right now). But to answer your question: yes and no. Personally I never reload, except to carry out a scientific experiment of course....

heraldo - Even after I eventually won the fixture, I went back and replayed it to make sure my original 1-2 defeat was once again the 'official' result, so my conscience is completely clear. I dislike the cheat prevention save because it takes up so much time. It takes long enough moving from week to week as it is. Another layer of saving would just aggravate me more. I don't need it anyway because I never reload, except when I want to carry out a scientific experiment of course....

Naughty, naughty. Interesting outcome though. I always use the prevention option myself, could maybe have done with it off after that match which sent me over the edge.

Can I say "I told you so"?

Now to the philosophical question: if the game's cheating you, is it really cheating to restart?
