PES for me (an average player) is usually all about struggling to win games. I always played on top difficulty just to give myself the experience of struggling all of the time. Elcherino alone wasn't responsible for me seeing PES2008 as criminally easy. Remember my final Coventry City ML season? The dark doubts set in about halfway through that season when I realised that I only had to turn up to win games. I still don't know how I managed to actually lose 1 game that season! I'm a few days ahead of the blog as ever and things are working out nicely with the House Rules. As I mentioned a few days ago, though, I'm really worried about what will happen in a season or two when I've got developed players and I am rich and prestigious enough to buy good new players. What do I do, introduce more and more severe House Rules? I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. bostongoals – you speak truth.
