I have a very unhealthy habit of restarting whenever the scripting gets VERY heavy. Yes, I know, it's cheating, but I'd rather start again than poison myself with hate. Today I was playing against Monaco when their striker came walking past my defenders like they were not there, and even the vicious slide-tackle I gave as a last resource went right through his legs AND the ball. As the piece de resistance, I brought out my keeper to close him down. He shot, the keeper stopped it but couldn't hold on to the ball, so it, of course, bounced back to the striker's feet even though there were already a multitude of defenders surrounding him. Another shot, another save, the ball went back to the striker. Another shot, another save, the ball went back to the striker, and he finally managed to slot it in with a low shot that went past my keeper and four defenders that were standing between him and the goal. Notice the fact that it happened three times in quick succession, and the ball went straight back to the opposition's only player in my box, even though I had plenty of defenders around, and the keeper could have either held on to the ball or bounced it outside, but, alas, the COMP just had to score at that time, so nothing could prevent it. When stuff like that happens, I don't even wait for the ball to cross the goalline, I hit start and then return to top menu. This game is really making me age.
